On August 5, 2024, in the Prince William Times newspaper, I wrote an article called “Look up for local art in downtown Manassas Banners,” along with four photographs of my banners on the City of Manassas light poles.

On April 13, 2023, Digital Copywriter, an online publication of AWAI, published my article “Using Online Tools to Improve Your Writing and Your Rankings.” The article discusses writing tools that I use when I’m writing. Studios is proud to announce an article was published in the June 2022 issue of AWAI Barefoot Writer Magazine called “Three Phases of Content Writing.” The article discusses the process for writing a feature article, blog, column, or case study. P.B.S. Studios calls the process Submission Tracking System, and the name comes from a computer application P.B.S. Studios developed for tracking submissions to publishers. Interview in May 2022 (AWAI), Barefoot Writer Magazine
P.B.S. Studios is proud to announce they won in the May 2022 issue of American Writers & Artists Institute (AWAI), Barefoot Writer Magazine; there is an interview with Peter Smolens of P.B.S. Studios on writing and digital painting. AWAI publishes monthly magazines on different areas of writing. Barefoot Writer Magazine includes a writing contest. Last year, I won the monthly writing contest with an essay on Persistence. Since then, I’ve been talking with the magazine about several article ideas. They have two under consideration at this moment. Last month, while discussing one of these articles, the content editor asked if I would complete a questionnaire. The magazine’s May issue is my “interview” based on the questionnaire. They even used a couple of my digital paintings, including one of Linda and our cat Sarah and John, Michael, and Beth sailing the Mary B.
