Peter Smolens is a writer/photography/digital painter who is the creative force behind P.B.S. Studios. He’s written and published over a hundred articles for newspapers, magazines, and online publications. Many photographs have been published as illustrations in commercial and textbooks publications.

While learning Adobe Photoshop, he discovered digital photo painting through a seminar presented by Faye Sirkis. Mostly self-taught, he studied through online workshops with Karen Sperling and Tim Shelbourne.

As a digital photo painter, Peter has displayed his digital photo paintings in galleries, magazines, businesses, corporations, libraries, restaurants, Manassas City Hall, and on the streets of the City of Manassas. Check out the publication section on his website www.pbsstudios.com to see examples of his writing, photography, and digital painting work.

Peter is available to teach seminars and workshops on Digital Photo-Painting. He’s taught at technical conferences, churches, art groups, senior centers, women’s, and photography groups.

“Digital Photo-Painting using Adobe Photoshop” published by Digital Art Press is his first book.
