2023 OSA Art Show Reception

Last night I found my two digital paintings as part of the Open Space Art Gallery (OSA) art show titled “April Showers Brings May Flowers.” I attended the opening reception yesterday. Here are photos taken by my friend, Donna Liguria

The Open Space Arts Gallery is at the Potomac Town Center (Wegman’s) Shopping Center, 15000 Potomac Town Center, Woodbridge, VA. The gallery is open WED-SAT 12:00-7:00 pm SUN 12:00-5:00 pm. The “April Showers Brings May Flowers.” art show runs from May 3 – June 18, 2023.

“Where Am I” Final Answer

As I said last week, we have a winner in the 2023 version “Can You Find Me?” banner contest. Tom Mossimann said he was walking home from seeing me at the 2023 Artist Inventory Art Sale (full disclosure Tom’s wife, Diane, is Linda’s caregiver) and saw my banner on Main Street in front of Ashby’s Jewelers.

Now it’s time to reveal the location of the other banner called “Evening Sunset with Trees and Birds.” As you enter downtown Manassas, VA, on Rt. 28, on Church St., just passed the fire station, the banner is located just past the old News and Messenger building on the left side after you make the right turn into the city and in front of the new apartment complex. I like to think of the location as a nice welcome to the downtown.

Article Sale to Digital Copywriter

On April 13, Digital Copywriter, an online publication of AWAI, published my article “Using Online Tools to Improve Your Writing and Your Rankings.” The article discusses writing tools that I use when I’m writing. These tools include Grammarly, Hemingway, and Yoast, and I explain using these writing tools helps make you a better writer. Click the following link to read the published article.

Flower Explosion is Done

Although we needed the rain, the one downside of the rain was the flower explosion in front of our house is over. The wind and rain ruined the flowers. Many Azalea and other flowers are now covering the driveway. Now I have a very colorful driveway.
