With the title of "Add a Starburst Using Photoshop", the article runs for 3 pages and includes a couple of examples of using photo special effects. The process shows how to make a customize brush in Photoshop which is the key to creating the starburst. In the same magazine is an extra treat. My article shooting panoramic iamges and putting them together in Adobe Photoshop, "Creating Panormaic Images". The article features a beautiful spring image of a road filled with cherry blossum trees. They only bloom for a few days. To illustrate the article Historic Links, the Virginia Golfer (the official publication of the VSGA) used six photograph of mine as illustrations. Include the article is a nice shot of Virginia National 17th hole located on the banks of the Sheandoah River. The House at Meadows Farms which was a hospital during the Civil War. A burial ground at Westfield golf course located on side of the13th fairway. Gravestones at Fairfax National golf course along with the 14th green at The Crossing Golf Course in Richmond, VA

One of the lead articles in the May, 2005 issue of the Woodall's CamperWays Magazine is my article on Shenandoah National Park featuring Skyline Drive. Starting on page 20, my article discusses this 100 mile long road the cuts across the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains in western part of Virginia. The article includes 4 photographs telling waht you will find when you visit the park.

An instructional article about "How to Make Those Three Foot Putts" was co-written with Travis Fulton on assignment for Golf Illustrated Magazine. The article provides a framework for getting your self ready mentally and physically to make these important shots in golf - a three foot putt.

 

  Article and photographs were published in the Jan/Feb, 2004 issue of the Air Jamaica's SkyWritings Magazine  
 

One of the lead articles in the January/February 2004 issue of SkyWritings, Air Jamaica airlines inflight magazine is my article on golf courses in Jamaica. Starting on page 40 and announced by a wonderful lead photo that I took of a 17th hole at the White Witch Golf Course, my article discusses these golfing gems in the Jamaica. Written on assignment, the article is six pages long and includes a number of photos illustrating the article. Check it out as you fly down to the island. Its a great way to begin your Jamaican holiday!

Announced by a wonderful cover photo of a girl at sunset, my article about using the sun in your photographs which was written on assignment was published for Peterson's Photographic Magazine.
